The Introduction of Wolf




In my second post,I gave you some tips to recognize dogs and wolves,and I want to show the details of the wolf so that you can know this mysterious animal.

    Wolves are the biggest canines,and once are the most wide-spreaded mammals in the world.However,because overhunted by human and the destruction of their natural habitat,the number of wolf has decreased rapidly.Fortunately,some nations are making laws to protect them and give back their home land so they are able to have a place to bring up their kids.

 
 
Wolves often hunt deer,rabits and sheep as their daily food,and they also eat mouse and voles.When time is hard, even carrion is one of important food resources.That is why wolves are indispensable in the nature.They hunt big animals and eat weak ones to make sure that only the stronger ones can past their genes.They eat mouse and voles to keep grassland from overeaten by mouse and voles.They eat carrion to prevent disease from raging.In fact,there are mant parts of food-chain rely on wolf to maintain them.

    Have you watched the video, how the wolves change(狼群如何改變河流)? It is about how the wolves maintained the food chain and changed the entire ecosystem of Yellowstone National Park. I recommend it to you and hope you will like it. : )

The Difference Between Wolf and Dog

   Both belonging to the canines,dogs and wolves are somehow very close in blood.Although there are dozens of varietis of dogs,all of them can still mate with wolves and give birth to the progeny.In fact,some dogs,especially husky,are often mistaken for wolves.Today,I am going to show you guys a few tips to differentiate these two animals. 1. Return to the Pack(重返狼群)

After Wolf Totem （狼圖騰） ,this time I want to introduce the book Return to the Pack( 重返狼群 )to you.Not like Wolf Totem,the story teller is a woman,which lead the story to another style.     When the writer come to the grassland of Zoigê county( 若爾蓋草原 ),she hear a story about a wolf family-father wolf steal the livestock for its wife which just give birth to six wolf culbs,but it is unfortunately killed by the herdsmen not just for revenge but for its fur,and the desperate female wolf decide to kill itself to follow its husband,leaving five little wolf.As soon as she hear the story,she come as fast as she can to save these immature lives,but only one is alive when she arrive.
